Carlos Mureithi is a correspondent with the Sunday Nation.

Mureithi began his journalism career in July, 2012, contributing to the Sunday Nation.

For his story on how boys are taught to prevent sexual violence against women, he finished first runner-up in the Young Journalist of the Year Award (Print category) during the 2013 Annual Journalism Excellence Awards organised by the Media Council of Kenya.

Mureithi graduated cum laude from the United States International University in 2013 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism.
