What you need to know:

  • If you find actual evidence of cheating, sit him down and have a mature conversation about it.
  • I must warn you that even if you catch him in the act, he may try to deny it.
  • Do not allow him to twist your reality.

Hi Brenda,

I am married to a man but I am the sole breadwinner. Lately, we have been having problems. He is usually on his phone chatting with other women and his exes. I know he is up to something but I am afraid of rocking the boat. Should I just move out?

Either you are a coward or you are really unhappy in this relationship and you want to use his suspicious behaviour to bail out on the marriage.

Find out for sure if he is cheating that can’t be too hard to do. If you find actual evidence of cheating, sit him down and have a mature conversation about it. I must warn you that even if you catch him in the act, he may try to deny it. Do not allow him to twist your reality.

When you have all the facts, it is up to you to decide whether to stay or leave. Remember that you are under no obligation to stay with a cheating man.
