It is D-Day for four National Super League sides chasing for the two automatic promotion places on the final day of competition on Saturday.

Second placed Vihiga United face a must-win assignment against league leaders Ushuru at the Mumias Sports Complex.

All key matches kick off at 2pm. After 35 matches, either Ushuru or Vihiga, on 78 and 77 points respectively, will secure promotion to the SportPesa Premier League if they win this game.

Wazito, on 77 points, are also in the running for promotion and could go up should they beat Kenya Police away at Narok Stadium. A loss could also see them gain promotion if Vihiga lose resoundingly.

Fourth placed Kenya Commercial Bank (74 points) could also sneak to the top league if they collect maximum points against visiting Modern Coast Rangers at Nairobi’s Camp Toyoyo and other results go their way.

But theirs is a mathematical improbability as their goal difference is very, very inferior.
