Elizabeth is an award-winning, bilingual and multimedia health and science journalist based in Nairobi, Kenya, with over four years' experience in the newsroom. Her focus is on journalism and communication, with interests in development, science, and health stories that inspire change.
She uses her writing skills to simplify technical medical- and science-based stories and tell them in a creative manner that can be understood by both the public and professionals. For this, she has been able to inspire changes in the health sector.
On a day-to-day basis, her duties involve generating health and science content for different platforms of the Nation Media Group’s multi-media sites. She also does regional and global human interest stories and dabbles in data journalism too.
Elizabeth studied Education, majoring in English, and Literature in her undergraduate studies and is currently pursuing a Masters’ of Arts in Digital Journalism.
