Of differences in our skin colour, hair texture and lip size

What you need to know:

  • The racial brutality with which Caucasian Europeans have treated their captives all over the world is not a monopoly property of the Caucasians.
  • If any Caucasian still thinks that his or her skin colour and hair texture are “more developed” than those of an Asiatic or of a Negro, the Caucasian merely reveals how backward his or her mind is.

  • Any human being who still does not know the environmental importance of such differences as skin colour, hair texture, lip size and other aspects of primate evolution can only amaze you by his or her lack of education.

As official Britain and other Western European countries may by now have learned, when you rule the world, the world will powerfully tend to copy you in certain important aspects of social and cultural life.

That is among the important reasons that such a large section of humankind’s world — including Kenya and other Third World countries — has long ago been reduced to copying England in terms of language, culture and form of governance.

That is why I have absolutely no problem with the fact that, at independence, Kenya adopted English as its medium of academic instruction, of government and of national and international commercial and political dialogue. What is appalling is only that — despite the enthusiasm with which, at independence, we adopted English as our official medium of upbringing, of training and of government — the fortunes of that language have dwindled with breathtaking speed ever since.

In Kenya — as much as in Tanzania and in Uganda — the standard of communication through that language has taken a nosedive ever since the mid-196Os, when the three East African countries snatched their independence after many long decades of appalling race-based inhumanity perpetrated on us by a class of men from England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales.

RACIAL BRUTALITY

I do not mean to say that such crimes can only be inter-racial. No, they can also be inter-ethnic. One great lesson that I learn from my reading of human history is that, if my own ethnic people —  the Luo — had been in a position to colonise another people, a class of the Luo themselves would have treated their captives every bit as brutally as a class of Western Europeans has done throughout the world in recent times.

It is important to emphasise that the racial brutality with which Caucasian Europeans have treated their captives all over the world is not a monopoly property of the Caucasians. No, it is potential in human beings of all races and all tribes. My reading of human history tells me that, if my own Luo people had colonised, say, the English, the Luo elite would have conducted itself in England with ethno-racial conceit every bit as nasty. Nay, the continuing conceit of the Luo elite suggests to me that Luo rule over any ethnic or racial captives would probably have been characterised by intolerable conceit  and tyranny. In my reading of human history, I have yet to meet any group that has treated its ethnic or racial captives with any commendable humanness.

SKIN COLOUR

But the fact that, today, the general European would not condone inter-racial brutality and injustice of the kind that a certain class of Europeans has recently perpetrated all over the world — especially against black human beings — is the proof that such conduct is not a tightly ingrained nature of human beings.

Human beings are so amply brained that they can eventually learn their essential specific oneness, so that, even the Scandinavian Europeans — among those who once put such a premium on their skin colour  and their hair texture, now know why the equatorial human being just had to evolve, among other properties, a different colour of skin and a different texture of hair.

If, in the 21st century, any Caucasian still thinks that his or her skin colour and hair texture are “more developed” than those of an Asiatic or of a Negro, the Caucasian merely reveals how backward his or her mind is, how appallingly ignorant he or she remains with regard to the history of anthropoid evolution and human biology. Any human being anywhere on our planet who still does not know the environmental importance of such differences as skin colour, hair texture, lip size and other aspects of primate evolution can only amaze you by his or her lack of education.
