The Kericho County Referral l Hospital is set to receive a computerised tomography scan (CT scan) and a magnetic resonance imagining (MRI) equipment worth Sh18.5million from World Medical Relief, Governor Paul Chepkwony has said.

Speaking in Nairobi after a 10-day visit to the United States where he was accompanied by his economic advisor Richard Mibey, Prof Chepkwony said the machines will go a long way in enhancing imaging services and help  the county realise its dream of turning Kericho into a medical service hub in the country.

He added that the organisation has also provide two new ambulances to the county hospital.

PACEMAKER IMPLANTATION

He also announced that University of Michigan in the US has agreed to help the county establish a one of a kind modern pacemaker implantation centre at the referral facility.
