Lamu man charged with attempted defilement
The child was found to be 21 weeks pregnant when she was taken to hospital with stomach pain.

A 50-year old man accused of attempting to defile a four-year-old girl in Lamu town has been released on bond.
Abdulaziz Abubakar Kanda is said to have committed the act on May 9 after coercing the girl into his house.
He faced two charges, attempted defilement of a minor and committing an indecent act with a minor.
He denied both charges and was released on Sh200,000 bond with surety of a similar amount.
The case will he heard on July 12.
