Student dies in Bondo dorm fire, dozens injured

A student was killed after fire swept through a dormitory at Barkowino Secondary School in Bondo.
The fire broke out shortly after the students retired to bed Friday night.
According to Bondo OCPD Paul Kiarie, several students who escaped from the fire sustained minor injuries.
Mr Kiarie said police are investigating the cause of the fire.
The body of the student was taken to Bondo District Hospital Mortuary.
