JUST BRENDA: My girlfriend slept with my friend

I’m currently working with an organisation in former Nyanza. I have been in many relationships since 2012 but I end up getting hurt. This has discouraged me.

Early this year, the lady I was dating ended up having sex with a friend. I found out as I had travelled to Nairobi and came back without notifying her. We broke up and moved out when I was in the office.

I later traced her, and she now wants us to date again. But I am finding it difficult to trust her. Please advice.

I'm a bit confused about the problem here. If you were hurt, don't get back with her. If you are hurt but you are not hurt enough to be with her, then move on.

For some people, sex with someone is a big deal. For others, it is not.

Now, if she had sex with a friend, and you can handle you guys being tunnel buddies, seeing as you know she had sex with your friend, feel free to resume the relationship with a healthy dose of doubt on the side – which isn't healthy at all.

I can understand why you have trust issues. Why does she want to get back together in the first place? Is she pregnant with your friend's child? Just thinking on the ball here. My advice? Throw the babe out with the bathwater.
