Kenya Revenue Authority officers have been incorporated in investigations of 18 vehicles impounded at Mountain View estate in Nairobi.

Dagoretti acting police boss Evans Wanyonyi said this would help police trace the ownership of the vehicles.

“We are asking members of public who have lost their vehicles in the past to come forward to Kabete Police Station and help identify these vehicles,” said the acting police boss.

UNEARTHED SYNDICATE

Police believe they have unearthed a major car theft syndicate in Nairobi.

Mr Wanyonyi said owners of some of the recovered vehicles had started identifying them.

“The owner of one vehicle has already come forward and we are working with all police bosses within Nairobi County to get the owners of the remaining vehicles,” he said.
