PYEONGCHANG

US ski star Lindsey Vonn ordered her suitors to step up their game after she put a shoutout on Twitter for a Valentine's Day date — and came up empty-handed.

The 33-year-old, who dated former number one golfer Tiger Woods for two years before they broke up in 2015, was inundated with offers when she went fishing for someone to take her out last week.

But asked by AFP on Sunday at the Pyeongchang Olympics if she had struck gold in her quest to avoid spending Valentine's Day alone, she replied: "No man, I didn't.

"I had a lot of offers but I was really disappointed with their romanticism. No one came up with any really good poems.

"Some decent ones, but the romance wasn't there. I wasn't inspired.

"But I feel like there's a lot of fish in the sea so maybe someday soon I'll find one."
