Kenya's Cecafa provisional squad named

Harambee Stars coach Francis Kimanzi has named a 26-man provisional squad for the upcoming Cecafa Senior Challenge Cup.

Former Bandari midfielder Anthony Wambani, now turning out for Swedish third-tier side Vasalunds IF, is the only foreign-based player in the squad that enters camp on Monday at the Utalii Hotel.

Other surprise call ups in the team are promising Kariobangi Sharks youngster Daniel Sakari, Posta Rangers defender Suleiman Ngotho and KCB midfielder Reagan Otieno.

Ulinzi Stars strikers Oscar Wamalwa and Elvis Nandwa are also part of the squad, as well as fast-rising Western Stima forward Benson Omala.
