Youthful Gor Mahia midfielder Amos Nondi is excited about the opportunity to play in Europe against English Premier League opponents, and he sees the match as an opportunity to showcase his talent and potential to any oversees scouts.

“To me, this is not just a friendly march. My career could change drastically and so I’m talking it very seriously. I plan to give it my best, not just for the money, but so that I can impress any suitors out there. You never know, I could get a chance to play for a European team just from this match,” he said on Friday at Kasarani.

Coach Stanley Okumbi has a full squad to work with, with the exception of four players from Tusker and Ulinzi Stars whose teams are preparing for this weekend’s Caf competitions.

Ulinzi winger Cliff Kasuti was however allowed to train with the All Stars, but his team mate John Makwatta will only join the All Stars camp this evening.
